Assignment 3.6 Ukiyo-e 10 points Pace yourself - turn in two assignments /week. Last due date 11/26 (11:45 pm)
Click on any of the pictures above to link to a website with images of Ukiyo-e artists from various periods in Japanese art. Because there are so many artists and images on this website it takes time to load, so be patient. Choose ONE artist that you like from EACH of the seven periods on the website. Click on their name and take a look at their work. From the numerous images to choose from, choose TWO images from the artist that you find interesting. You will include the images you choose in a powerpoint presentation highlighting the periods of Ukiyo-e prints. Warning: some of the Ukiyo-e art is sexually explicit!
Your presentation should have at least 8 slides (for 8 points): An introductory slide with a catchy title and your name, and at least one slide from EACH of the seven periods (each slide should contain 2 images). Each Ukiyo-e image included in your presentation should list the Period, Artist, Title and Date of the work. I will also grade on the stylistic quality (template, title, placement of images, image information, spelling...) of your presentation (2 pts). Turn your power point presentation in as an attachment on the Assignment 3.6 link on Moodle.
*I will accept late assignments for Unit Three until 11:45 pm on Saturday December 2nd with a late penalty/late assignment. Unit closes 12/2.
