Click on the box above to link to a Ted Talk introducing "10 young Indian artists to watch". . Look at all 10 of the artists and pick One that you would like to learn more about. Using the assignment 1.8 template below as your guide, create a power point presentation about the artist you have chosen. The powerpoint should have 10 slides: an introductory slide with your name and the title of the presentation, a slide with biographical information about the artist , a quote from the artist (including a picture of the artist) and must contain at least 6 examples of art created by your chosen artist (slides should contain information about the piece (title, date). I would also like your final 10th slide to end with your reflections about how the artists work shows (or doesn't show) the artistic traditions of Indian art. You will be able to find some information for your presentation from the Ted Talk, but you may need to do more research on the artist. Turn your presentation in using the link to Assignment 1.8 on our class Moodle page.
