This week you will be going on a virtual field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.  Click on the "Link to Museum" button above to visit the Metmuseum exhibit - South Asia, 1600–1800 A.D.  This exhibit highlights the Art of the Mughal Empire.  Read the article and then click on the image at the top of the screen. The link will take you to several images of artifacts in the museum collection.  Click on each image and read the description to lean more about it. Select ONE image and write a 150-175 word essay telling me about the piece of art and why you like it.  Be sure to condense and REWRITE the descriptive information in  your own words!  Once you are happy with your essay, go to our Moodle page and use the Turnitin link under Assignment 1.6 to turn in your essay. Don't include a picture, but be sure to include the title of the work.

*I will accept late assignments for Unit One until 11:45 pm on Sunday, September 17th  with a late penalty/ assignment. The Unit closes on 9/17.
